AIOS Guide is a reader supported publication about AI workflows. This page explains exactly what data the site collects, why it exists, and how to have it removed. It describes what the site actually does today, not a generic template.
The short version
You can read everything on this site without an account, without giving an email address, and without accepting anything. The site does not sell your data, does not run advertising, and does not build profiles for advertisers.
What the site collects
Analytics
The site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages people read. It records pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, referring site, and general device and browser information. It sets cookies to do this. This is aggregate reporting used to decide what to write next, not individual tracking.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs including IP addresses and request details. These are operational records used to keep the site running and to investigate abuse.
Accounts
The site has an optional account system built on Supabase that uses a magic link sent to your email address, so there is no password to store. Everything on the site is currently free, so there is nothing to sign in for and the sign in link is hidden. The system remains in place for existing accounts. Where an account exists, the stored record is your email address, when the account was created, whether it has membership access, and identifiers issued by the payment processor. The site never stores a password.
Payments
Paid membership is switched off at present. When it is active, payments run through Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy collects and processes the payment details directly. Card numbers and billing details never reach this site or its database, and only the resulting subscription identifiers are stored.
Newsletter
If you enter an email address into the subscribe form, it is passed to the newsletter provider, currently Substack, which stores it and handles delivery under its own privacy policy. You can unsubscribe from any email that is sent to you.
Third parties that process data
Vercel for hosting, Google Analytics and Google Search Console for measurement, Supabase for accounts, Lemon Squeezy for payments when enabled, and Substack for the newsletter. Each holds data under its own privacy policy. No other party receives your data, and none of it is sold.
Cookies
Analytics cookies are set by Google Analytics. A session cookie is set only if you sign in. Your theme choice, light or dark, is stored locally in your browser and never leaves your device. Blocking cookies in your browser will not stop you reading anything here.
Your choices
You can ask what data is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted entirely, including any account and newsletter subscription. Email hello@aiosguide.com and it will be handled. You can also block analytics with any browser extension or by using a browser that blocks it by default, and nothing on the site will break.
Data retention
Analytics data follows Google Analytics retention settings. Account records are kept while the account exists and are removed on request. Server logs are kept for a short operational period by the host.
Children
This site is intended for working adults and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects what is collected, the date at the top of this page will change. Material changes will be noted on the site.
